I like this place. They have delicious food. I loved their pizza. Also, employees were so friendly. For sure i will visit this place when i come back to SanDiago.

I was really hoping for this place to become a new "go-to", but it was quite a disappointment. The place itself is VERY eclectic, super random decorations, apparently it has a backyard that seems pretty interesting in the photos, but I didn't get to see it. It seems like the original owner passed away last year, and I have the feeling that the spirit of this place (and the taste of sandwiches) passed away with him. My expectations were sort of high for the food, considering the 4.2 stars on Google, and I don't mind weird places (even though has a creepy vibe of some sort), but the sandwich was really bad...I threw away most of it (and I HATE throwing food away). I got the bratwurst one, and it came DROWNED in mustard. All I could taste was that, the bread was soaked in it. I had to throw out breadm grilled onions and the pickles, and at least eat the bratwurst (that wasn't all that great either). It didn't seem like there was any love put into that poor sandwich. On top of it all, they are very explicitly Trump supporters...so I guess you either love it or hate it. I am not for Trump at all, but I was keen to get over that for a good sandwich...which sadly wasn't all that great. Not going back.

Love it. It is such a cozy little cafe. Probably drove past this place a million times and didn't notice it. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone that just want a quiet place to eat and relax. Food is so good.

With a big "TRUMP" sign on top of the building, I had to stop by in 2016. Owner extremely friendly and hospitable. 3 stars because of location and food quality. Plenty of memorabilia to read or take pictures with. Located off the main street with indoor and outdoor seating. Food is not really anything to write home about, but there is beer. During my first visit, owner played his own "Trump for President" song on repeat that almost drove us nuts. Would return solely for the owner and clients - good people.
